About Thompsons McClure
Thompsons McClure is situated at 171/175 Victoria Street in Belfast. The firm was formed in 1999 when McClure & Company, a long established firm in Northern Ireland, joined with Thompsons, a firm with offices throughout England and Wales and associated offices in Scotland. The formation of Thompsons McClure brought together a local history and experience of fighting for injured people and trade union clients and the UK’s most experienced personal injury practice. Having offices across the UK enables our Solicitors to have immediate access to and knowledge of legal developments and decisions throughout the UK as soon as they occur and to collate a vast amount of information which in turn enables us to pursue quickly and successfully claims on behalf of our clients.
Thompsons McClure has a long history of acting for Trade Unions and their members and ensuring that they are given adequate protection at work and have immediate access to legal assistance. The experience we have gained has enabled us to develop a specialisation in asbestos disease litigation and industrial deafness, upper limbs disorders and other industrial diseases. We have also represented thousands of people in relation to accidents that they or their family have sustained at or away from work.
Again as a result of our work with Trade Unions we have developed an expertise in employment law and employment related issues. We currently have three Solicitors specialising in this particular area of work who routinely deal with contracts of employment, unfair dismissal, redundancy, discrimination and equal pay cases.
In addition we offer experienced advice and assistance in relation to Conveyancing and Probate matters and a free Will service to our Union clients.
